Here is a guide to how we work and the process of having an appointment through to your dress being delivered to you ready for your big day.

How We Work

We work in exactly the same way as a bridal shop, only we go to you rather than you coming to us. We offer appointments Mon-Fri 10am-7pm and Sat 10-3pm. We would normally bring at least 6 bridal gowns and any bridesmaid dresses that you want to see, as well as our veils and tiaras. We base this on what styles you have chosen from our website or particular styles you have seen elsewhere. It's important to keep an open mind as the dress you may not like in the picture or on the hanger, you may love when it's on! We listen to what you want and provide invaluable advice and guidance. If you are at all unhappy with any aspect of our service, you must let us know immediately so that we can try to resolve the matter ~ if we don't know, we can't help. Unfortunately, because we provide a "mobile" service, we do not have clients visiting us at our home address.

What Happens At Appointments?

Invite only those whose opinions you value the most, too many people can be distracting and may make your experience confusing and all the more harder for you to decide. You can keep the appointment minimal or you can lay out nibbles for your guests, share a glass of wine (or 2!) and enjoy the process of looking through and trying on our gowns and accessories. On average, an appointment can last 1-3 hours, but don't worry we won't rush you in anyway as we realise this may be the most important purchase you will make.

When Should I Order?

Average lead time from Cascata is 4-5 months, however we can arrange a rush order with our designer, but this does incur an extra charge. We do recommend you order earlier than this, so we know your dress has arrived in plenty of time. Accessories can take anytime from 1-6 weeks to arrive, so you may order these at a later date or with your dress so that you have them in plenty of time to practice bridal hair styles.

How Do I Order and Pay?

We will discuss your requirements and make sure you are completely happy with your choice. We will take your measurements and make out an order form. A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of ordering. You will receive a copy of your order along with our Terms & Conditions. The final balance is payable on the first fitting date, approximately 6-8 weeks before the wedding. We offer a payment scheme to help spread the cost, please ask us for details. Payment is by cash, cheque or BACS transfer.

Fittings & Alterations

We provide an 'in-house' alteration service so we can ensure your gown fits perfectly. For this appointment, we ask that you have the shoes you will be wearing on the day and a good fitting bra always helps. You will be advised on any alteration charges when you place your order, but you are not obliged to use our service. After the alterations, we will make another appointment to ensure the dress fits correctly.

And Finally.....

We will store your dress until it is ready to be steamed and delivered to you ready for your big day.
